Q-Part Knobs
Well, I'm planning of getting some cool metal dome knobs for my guitars, but the website only has pics of them in gold, and says that are available in "trans black"? A metal knob in trans black? wtf?

Does anyone ever seen one of those? I'm very interested in putting them in my Hellraiser, but that "trans black" thing kinda stops me. Any input aprecciated

It seems likely to me that they may be referring to black chrome. This would suggest that the knob is either anodized or painted a translucent black - effectively revealing that it is metallic.

(not a guitar relative example)

Yes, Q-parts knobs come in Black Chrome, Chrome, or Gold. Black Chrome is basically transparent black over a chrome base, which is probably where they got that from.

The knobs I bought for my C7 are Q-Parts, chrome with a black pearloid inset. They rule.
