Blocking tremelno without settings springs?
Can I loosen my Floyd springs so their is no real pull either way when my guitar is in tune. Then set the Floyd to be parralell manually and just lock it? Do I grace to set the spring tension so when I unlock it the bridge doesn't go shooting up or down? Once I lock it I don't change it I just want tO make sure it doesn't move

I'm not sure if this is what you are asking, but you are supposed to setup the trem, and then lock it with the tremol-no. The tremol-no is made for locking a balanced trem, not to hold the tension from the strings on its own.

The only thing you could do is use the tremol-no to lock the bridge in perfect position, then finely tune your guitar, then release the T-no and begin adjusting your springs until the guitar is back perfectly in tune (thus sitting in perfect position again) but none of this is really the proper way to use the device.
