Tele pickup suggestion for low tunings?

Hey guys,

I'm in the middle of a guitar build on what I'm dubbing the, "You Djele?"

Which is essentially a Tele build that I'm planning on using in some serious low tunings(Lower than B), and I'm not sure what pickups to go with. It's a standard righty tele bridge on a lefty tele(so, angled backwards) for a different sound.

Any suggestions? I don't care if it's stacked, I don't care if its a rail style, I just need some suggestions for lower tunings and tight sounds.

Thanks

Tim

Misha did a clip with a BKP piledriver that sounded absolutely ridiculous!

The BKP would be good, but if you don't want to spend that much on a pickup I'd look into a few Dimarzio models such as the tone zone tele pickup they have, or the chopper. I saw a video of a guy testing his stratocaster tuned to drop A with the Chopper pickup and it sounded nice and clear, but still thick and strong.

They are not hum canceling (unless I goofed the wiring up) but they really do sound awesome. This was done in drop c.

That is fantastic!

Maybe I'll have to grab a set of these and a really good noise gate...
