Keeping my fingerboard clean...
Hello everyone,
I have a question about keeping my fingerboard clean. I bought a Dunlop System 65 Fingerboard Care Kit and i was going to apply it to my fingerboard. But then i read on the bottles that it's not for use with maple fingerboards. Since my Bo~el has a maple fingerboard i didn't apply it. Can i damage the fingerboard if i use it anyway? If so, what can i use best for my guitar? I don't want to screw my guitar up since it's not a cheap guitar

The Dunlop 02 fretboard conditioners and cleaners are only for dark open grained woods, like rosewood, ebony, pau ferro, etc. Not good for maple. Is your maple board finished or unfinished? If its finished, ordinary guitar polish (like dunlop 65) will do the trick. If its not finished, then clean it with naptha (lighter fluid) and 0000 steel wool.
