So, what's this for? whose been using this and how does it work,how does this change the guitar sound? and why there is not info about it on groove tubes page? is it discontinued?

they are ment to give you more sustain, they make 2 models one for guitar and one for bass. billy sheehan and joe satriani have used them.

Edit: you clamp it to your headstock

They work by simply adding more mass to your headstock - therefore less vibrational energy is wasted just shaking the neck around, and you get quite a bit more volume and a little more sustain.

You can get a sense of what they do by just touching the head of your guitar to something very heavy like a wall, and then playing. You should notice more volume.

I have owned both the bass and the guitar models. I bought the bass just because its bigger. And I didnt notice ALOT more sustain or volume. It wasnt all that great for electric guitars. It did add a bit more bass to my acoustic tho.

Also if you lean the edge of the body of your guitar or bass against a table it will resonate thru the tabel
