Dimarzio Super Distortions.

hi,

i was wondering how these pickups sound with distortion pedals?

yeah, know but how are there cleans? are they to distorted. and when you put distortion through them do they getting to distorted.

They;re actually not THAT high gain, as I understand - they were the first Dimarzios to be released, so they were quite a bit hoptter than a Gibson PAF, the standard at the time, but Dimarzio has since gotten hotter.

How they sound, I have no clue. But don't let the name fool you, they're not gain-only.

My cousin has an old Super Distortion in his guitar. It's not bad sounding. It's thick and fat sounding. It's a dark warm clean sound, not the greatest but not horrible.
