Nik will become famous soon enough
Planning a guitar makeover (tremol-nos)...

...so the 1 year anniversary of my ownership of a 7 is approaching (damn that went by fast ) and one of the things I'm looking at is a tremol-no. However, I saw this at ibanezrules.com:

Quote:
[Edit - there were some minor problems with tolerances on the first batch of T-No's so I won't be stocking them until the second batch starts shipping, no ETA has been given.]
1. What's up with the Tremol-nos? And will this be fixed by late November/early December? That's when I plan on getting one.

2. Also, can someone give me a link to the locking studs I need for the edge pro on my RG1527? I can't find the exact link at Ibanezrules.com...

3. Are they selling those back cavity covers that were designed especially for tremol-nos yet? If so, where?

Thanks

For the locking studs, I'd suggest emailing Rich and asking him... he tends to respond to emails VERY quickly.

For the other two I have no idea

a very VERY small percentage of the Tremol-No's had some extra "wiggle room" that wasn't supposed to be there. if you get one and it has it, you can send it to Kevan and he'll set things right.

but, chances are pretty damned good that you'll get a good unit. mine is works fantasticly.

I have a radical idea. The door swings both ways,
we could reverse the particle flow through the gate.
We'll cross the streams.

You've got your head down
You've got your eyes closed
You look so pitiful now

Your body encrusted with ash
Breath heavy with toxins
Hair singed and matted
Clothes frayed and burnt

You are left with nothing

Isn't a Tremol-No version 1.1 on the horizon? And I also couldn't find the price of Rich's locking studs so I e-mailed him and got a response within minutes. I'm just waiting for his next shipment of ESP Arming Adjusters and Tremol-Nos to arrive until I place an order for them and the locking studs.
Also, I daresay you're already aware of this but there's a page on the Tremol-No site here that gives exact measurements for the cover mods.

of course there is also the option of simply removing the cover plate and not using it...

I'm not that stupid

I know it may be silly, but I just really like having the plate there. I dunno, maybe I'm shallow, but I like a nice, clean looking guitar, from all angles
