![]() | Taking the paint off is a bitch Hi folks, Anyone know of some good remover to get off paint thats on metal parts of the guitar (Vol/tone knobs, bridge etc..) because i tried some stripper on my black machineheads and nothing came off so i ended up sandpapering each MH which took forever, and i dont want to continue doing that with the bridge etc ! |

Take your parts to a professional electroplaters and get them to do it properly. Seriously man, you are going to destroy your hardware and will regret it. What kind of bridge have you got? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Could be more expensive, check allparts.com etc... knobs are cheap, machineheads could be considered an upgrade in quality, the only tricky bit would be the bridge which you'd need to ensure is the same spacing and that the string hole positioning is identical. It's worth giving a platers a call, usually they have a minimum charge which would certainly cover guitar parts. |
