The concensus is the TZ7 sounds nothing like the regular TZ, and is muddy as hell. An Air Norton 7 or Blaze Neck would be a better choice, IMO.

one post is enough, bro. cross-posting will only annoy us, and make us want to help you less :p.

+1 @ the TZ7 being muddy. at least, i've heard it also . why not try a pair of X2N-7's?

I have a radical idea. The door swings both ways,
we could reverse the particle flow through the gate.
We'll cross the streams.

The X2n-7 is supposed to sound very similar to a strat single coil when split.

A X2N7 in the neck isnt recommended. Great clean sounds come from the middle position when the X2N7 is mixed with a Blaze Neck or whatnot. The X2N7 in the neck for cleans would be really boring.

nyck is just really nicenyck is just really nice
X2N sounds bad for cleans because of the high output IMO. But split it sounds incredible.

Lenny, I've had to merge a LOT of threads for you so far - you had four or five seperate for sales for your Hellraiser, two or three seperate plugs for your band in a couple different forums over the course of a few days, and now two threads for this question, your second from only two minutes after bumping your first.

Not to be a hard-ass or anything, but that's kind of spam, dude. One thread's enough, ok?
