yea its high gain, will the clean be very distorted or ok?

X2N7 in bridge / TZ7 in neck

anyone?

The concensus is the TZ7 sounds nothing like the regular TZ, and is muddy as hell. An Air Norton 7 or Blaze Neck would be a better choice, IMO.

The X2n-7 is supposed to sound very similar to a strat single coil when split.

A X2N7 in the neck isnt recommended. Great clean sounds come from the middle position when the X2N7 is mixed with a Blaze Neck or whatnot. The X2N7 in the neck for cleans would be really boring.

X2N sounds bad for cleans because of the high output IMO. But split it sounds incredible.

Lenny, I've had to merge a LOT of threads for you so far - you had four or five seperate for sales for your Hellraiser, two or three seperate plugs for your band in a couple different forums over the course of a few days, and now two threads for this question, your second from only two minutes after bumping your first.
