ESP LTD H-207 Wiring diagram
I know several of you own this guitar. Anyone have access to a wiring diagram for one of these? I can't figure out the wiring in mine, and it doesn't match the diagram for a typical Seymour Duncan 2HB, 1 Vol, 1 Tone from the SD website. The pickup ground wires (green in SD's) are connected directly to the 3-way switch instead of the pots, and the pot terminals are wired backwards?! WTF? This may be why my neck pup is FUBAR'd. Any diagrams/help would be greatly appreciated.

Well...if no one has any wiring diagrams for this guitar. At least, here is a schematic of the way it has been wired since I bought it. You can see that it's like spaghetti. The bridge works fine, but the neck is barely audible. All connections are intact. Can anyone help me figure this out? It's driving me insane.

both pickups are wired wrong, the green wire is ground and the black wire goes to your 3 way switch. i used this as reference
http://www.seymourduncan.com/support...lor_codes.html i would switch both green wires to ground, and both black wires to their respective spots on the switch, and see how it works. |

Thanks Elysian. I was thinking that, but I'm not very experienced with 4-conductor pickup wiring. I was afraid they were in reverse phase or something wierd.
