+1 on the steel wool. I never thought of that, that's a great idea, Drew. Excellent job on the guitar, and nice touch with the beer & pizza

Thank Rich Harris - most of this I learned in his "used guitar cleaning primer" and in fact he goes into a bit more depth than I do - my only real improvement was the masking tape over the pickups so you could do this to set neck guitars, or bolt ons when you didn't have time/desire to pull the neck.

Technomancer - 10-46 with a .68. I too wish they had a .60 or .62, but so far so good, once I got the damned thing in there...

Wow, doesn't the jump from 46 to 68 seem uncomfortable? That's massive. I figure I'm going to stick with 10-56 for my 7321 and Schected and try the 10-52+68 on the LP7. I love the Elixirs that came on my 6, so I figure it's worth the extra $.

Now after seeing how good your Hellraiser looks I need to clean all of my guitars when I restring them. Thanks Drew

[tech] How-to: Fretboard Care

Apparently you didn't read my fretboard care how to thread. Step 3.

And Drew, you don't like the idea of dyeing the fretboard?? I think it makes it look soooo much better.

Awesome conversion to pristine! Very nice looking! 1 Point. HST lived in an era when Ballantine 3 ring ale was about as strong as you could get from the main stream breweries. I had the stuff in the 70's, and it was among the better(only ) choices, along with Yuengling "Lord Chesterfield Ale". No kidding, that stuff was great in the 1970's. And did I mention it was about $5 a case?
We live in the best era for beer EVER in the US!

dying the fretboard looks cool on some guitars, for sure. i really like the brown woodgrain of my fretboards, though, to dye them.

I have a radical idea. The door swings both ways,
we could reverse the particle flow through the gate.
We'll cross the streams.
