Sperzel Tuners
I was checking out some tuners and I realized that sperzels dont have the little bracket for the mini screw. what I want to ask the Sperzel owners is does the tuner move around at all? If you can, could you explain it?

There is a lock post underneath the housing. You have to drill a hole in your headstock for it (just like you would for a set screw).
I could only find a pic of one with the drop-D option, but you can still see the post quite clearly. ![]()

You know, I want one of those drop-d attachments. I just don't want to pay $80 for it.

Hmm. Sperzel says $60 MSRP - of course, everywhere I've seen one they've sold it with the tuner attached, so maybe I should contact Sperzel directly?

GO FOR THE PLANET WAVES AUTO TRIMS.
THEY'RE 18/1 RATIO, THEY TRIM OFF THE EXCESS STRING, & THEY'RE A TAD LESS EXPENSIVE THAN SPERZELS. A FRIEND OF MINE HAS THEM ON HIS JACKSON, & THEY WORK QUITE WELL.
