It appears Becky, Bill's wife has stated "we just completed a short run of 7 string L-500's due to popular demand, and they're ready to ship!" A 7 string version of the L-500XL for the bridge and the L-500R for the neck would be interesting to hear for a 7 string. Who is going to be the 1st? Cannont be me, no longer have a 7 string.

Be interesting to hear, but I'm pretty content with my Dimarzios. I might be getting a backup Ibanez 7, maybe then, if the price isn't too bad. of course, I'm jonesing for some PAF7s, so...

I loved the 6-string versions to bits. I had a set in an old charvel I used to own and they screamed!

The 7-string version will probably sound just as killer.
