Single pickup wiring help

hi, i'm building a project and need some help with the wiring,
i want it to have one humbucker at the bridge and just a volume control.
I have the pickup (with a red and a white wire), the pot and the output socket, could anyone help me put it all together, or at least point me in the right direction?
