Trem replacement question

so im swapping a lo-pro trs trem for a lo-pro-edge on an Rg450 im working on and was wodnering when replacing the studs do i take jus the part that touched the trem out or all of the stud includint what it screws into out and put in the new stud pieces??

the edge studs should be a bit larger than the TRS studs, you'd have to take them out, dowel them, and redrill them to get an accurate placement for the new studs...

how much larger are they, im getting the guotar for mods on saturday, is it alot?

cant i just drill the stud holes a small bit wider and put them in
