Just got my new D-Sonic installed in my RG7620 Bridge Position

It sounds awesome. I haven't been playing this guitar much since I got my S7420FM because the Saber sounded so much better. But since this pickup has been installed, this guitar will be seeing much more action!

The pickup has been intalled with the blade facing the Edge. I was first concerned about not having it mounted in reverse because I am a soloist (aren't we all in our own minds), but I find that it sounds great in this position. The Lows are tight, the mids growl, and the highs aren't piercing. I can still speed pick with the pickup mounted this direction as well and not have it sound too thin or piercing.

The clean tones also sound great. It sounds nice and full in bridge position and I can still get the nice sparkling strat clean tone in second position.

All around this pickup sounds great.

I was actually thinking about selling this guitar because I was getting so unhappy with it. Since this pickup has been installed I feel excited about this guitar again and even look forward to playing it instead of just keeping it around as a spare for live shows.

Sounds good. I fancy trying one or an X2N7 in my S7420.

The big question is thoug, when are Dimarzio gonna list them on their site?
