Man, looking at my photos, will I ever be able to take a shot like that first one again? Best pic of that guitar ever for me, and it's with the old hardware.

hey, i had a chrome trem arm for my RG... funny story actually:

i had a black RG, with a black trem arm... big whoop...

so, one day i bought me a jet king II (i miss this baby!), and the guys didn´t have the box for it, so they put it in an ibanez S series box, and i took that home. when i got to open it (christmas present), i noticed they had left the S series stuff in there, the allen keys and all that. i didn´t care much, thought it was a nice addition to my other stuff (i have tons now!)... and then i saw the chrome tremolo arm, and was like "dude! they left me the S series trem arm!"

let´s just say that it´s 500 times better in an RG than the RG trem. it´s longer, and it´s angled alot more comfy. it looked rad in my black rg with black tremolo, and it looked even more awesome when i put a golden pup cover on the neck pup, and replaced the black tone knob with a chrome one...

S series tremolo arms in RGs = win

Did you consider some brasso on the trem maybe? My friend did that to a gold Duncan Distortion since the store was out of chrome ones.

Yeah, but all the shots I've seen of Japanese Cosmo hardware with the black overlay striped off look like shit(for some reason the TRS hardware comes off clean). It would be a dull grey, not shiny chrome, and worthless to sell off. I only lost about $70 doing this, after selling the original hardware.
