Hmm...I will have to consider that. I'm not sure what I'd put it in, though.

Isnt your V a bit dark for your tastes?
The blackouts are definately more transparent than emgs, and Nick is right when he says the bridge would react better in a darker guitar. Ive tried the 6ers in a few guitars and hes spot on with that |

How many knobs are in the emo killer?
[edit] Theres 2 Just run a volume on each, no tone, or get concentric pots for it, so you have a set of 25ks for the bridge, and 500's or whatever for the neck. Run them before the switch, and then just hook the pups up to the switch normally. I remember allen did this (albeit with a lundgren and an 707) in some LACS, just that it had 4 knobs instead of using concentrics |

Unfortunately, I have next to no room inside of the battery compartment.

You should still be able to fit it in that, especially if you just want to run volumes for each.
Thats a very slim, but very long, control cavity lol |

Yeah, but I like one volume, one tone. I hate the idea of a bunch of knobs.

Understandable.
Whatever you do, i recommend trying em out in something sometime. I still am a passive guy generally, And while ive used EMG's on multiple occasions, i always ended up swapping em out for passives again fairly quickly. These definitely have potential to play dealbreaker with that. I still have plenty of other passives i want around, but i think (dont quote me though ) that these (in dual neck format) will be sticking around for a good while |

I think the next KxK I'm getting to review will have Blackouts.
