Tuning peg question

Looking at buying some Grover locking rotos and I can't find 3/3 in stock, just inline 6. Is there any reason I can't use inline pegs on a side by side head? It seems like I'd just have to turn the pegs a different direction, which doesn't bother me, but I don't know if there's some bad string angle voodoo or something.

No, only other direction turns

just that, and the pegs wont line up across the headstock, the ones on the right will be a bit higher than on the left, it might look a little funny.
but they will work

Well, I didn't find a source for grovers that I could use, but I did end up with a great source for sperzels and hipshots, along with a ton of info about pegs in general...

HipShot & Sperzel Locking Tuners

I'm still checking but I think the sperzels will work.
