...but the screws from the old PU are too small, so it'll just fall into the cavity.

The hunt for appropriately sized screws has begun.

i hate it when that shit happens! fortunately it was w/ my hollow body and i'd taken it to a tech for the pickup replacement and he had two screws of the right size lying around. charged me fifty cents for em. that bastard...
or maybe he said he was gonna charge me 50 cents but he was joking. I NEVER get it when anyone over 40 is just messing with me. I have no radar for that...

anywho. erm. if you don't find the appropriate screws, i have faith that you will manage to ghetto rig it up somehow. Duct tape can PROBABLY be used in some way to solve your problem.
