Need help installing new pickups!!!!!

Ok first off, i have never wired in a new pickup, i have an Ibanez S7320, and i am putting 2 Dimarzio AN7's in the neck and bridge, i have a 5 way pickup selector if you didnt already know that =], but sadly i ran out of money and im putting them in myself =[

I NEED STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS IN DETAIL ON HOW TO DO IT PLEASE!!!

You need to get the wiring diagrams from Ibanez.

Follow this diagram. Its very simple. Just make sure you make the connection really quickly otherwise you will burn the shitty ibanez switch.

Let us know if you need more help

Can we assume you at least have a soldering iron and some spare solder? And preferably some desoldering braid as that will make life somewhat easier. You can get all that stuff at radio shack or wherever.

I'm gonna assume the above diagram is for dimarzio's, though the one I got from them noted "Two Dimarzio Pickups" on the picture. I have that somewhere if you need it. Be grateful you ran out of money. paying a tech to do something like this when you can do it yourself pretty easily is a bum deal. You save some dough and you learn something new! And let us know how the pickups sound and all, cuz i'm curious about the AN in the bridge.

yeah my moms boss has a professional soldering kit that i can borrow

and i had an AN7 in the bridge of my P.O.S. schecter revenger 7 and it actually sounded really good if you like a warm / fat sound.

well i have a green wire instead of a blue one, is it the same thing?

what happens if the ibanez switch burns out?

would you get no output or other signs to look for?

Just curious in case mine was burned out.

Yeah - your output goes. Some positions might work somemight not.
