oh man how you will love it, you have a powerball right? or at least some kind of engl?
because to me at least it sounds like he designed the pickup to work with a powerball haha, sounds like a match made in heaven or hell depending on which you think is more awesome |

Yeah, I've got the Fireball, little brother of the Powerball, so you're pretty close.
![]() Unfortunately, the only news I have is that I do believe I've fucked up the wiring, and I'll just have to and do it again. Oh well. |

just a note from johan:
for series wiring Red and yellow together solder and tape. Blue= Hot. Green and silverbraid to ground. i had to email him to find out how to wire it. pickup manufacturers should make one way to color them the industry standard. |

![]() I see where it's wrong now, but to avoid any further mistakes, could anyone tell me which colours correspond to this, which has DiMarzios as stock? That would be a huge help. Thanks in advance! I blame this dastardly 1527, out of all the guitars I've wired, this is the one that has given me the most headaches. ![]() |

It seems to me like:
DiMarzio --> Lundgren braid --> braid green --> green white --> red black --> yellow red --> blue The white/black --> red/yellow relationship might be reversed. But if Lundgren's ground is green and their hot is blue, everything else seems right. The easiest way to check is to use a multimeter. On a DiMarzio, green and white are the two ends of one coil, and black and red are the two ends of the other one. Touch a meter to the ends of each of those coils, and you should get a closed circuit. If you touch green and red on the Lundgren and dont' get a closed circuit, then the yellow wire is the other end of the coil that starts with the green wire. |
