I bring you, the coffee appreciation thread.
So, who else loves this stuff. For me it's the elusive fifth food group.

I love Starbucks Venti Carmel Macchiato with 4 Shots of Espresso.
That being said, this should be in the lifestyle forum.

Ever noticed how some people are real dicks on the internet, but when they post something involving their band, they make the effort to be nice? Funny that... |

Here in Finland people drink coffee all the time!
"Coffee break" is even written on every schedules at work or at school. People tend to drink about 4 or 5 cups of coffee per day, if not more. Someone who doesn´t have a coffee-machine at home is definitely NOT finnish ![]() I used to drink a big mug of coffee every morning until I started to have my hands shaking. I stopped 6 months ago

Tea.
Although I do enjoy a good cup of coffee. None of this powdered, freeze-dried, made from recylced waterbuffalo shit stuff

Good old fashioned black coffee gets me going every morning. Its the best bang for your buck (especially if its free at work). When I was a barista during high school (who in Seattle WASN'T a barista during high school?) I couldn't believe the people that would come in twice a day and order $4 drinks.

I really like Turkish coffee which is seriously strong. I can only drink a small cup but it just wakes me up instantly.

Turkish coffee: Coarse grind the beans yourself (if you're really hard up, put them in a baggie and pound them with a hammer), put them in a metal caraffe on the stove and add water. Let it froth twice, pour, then drink.

I culled myself off coffee 2-3 weeks ago, doctor's orders. (Brutal migraine trigger)
I was drinking a dark roast Kenyan blend .

i drink it occasionally, but i need to have cream and sugar in it...i've only recently developed any taste for it at all, and lately i've been all about french vanilla cappuccinos. thing is, Dunkin Donuts is the most prevalent coffee place around, and their french vanilla cappuccinos are ....ing nasty. Starbucks, Au Bon Pain, even a gas station convenience store down the street has better cappuccinos than Dunkin Donuts
