A spider bite my daughter in her sleep once. She woke up crying and then her arm swelled up really bad, so now everytime I see one it's dead meat!

That spider near the curtains was sweet. I totally dig spiders - call me crazy - and I even have one in this room. It's brown, it's hairy, and it'll be big. And yes it's poisonous.

We get one of those inside every other week, usually have a nice collection of daddy long legs as well. As long as we don't get any red backs or white tip spiders I'm happy.

because big harmless spiders that eat dangerous spiders are way worse than earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes/floods that wipe out half a state and the bush administration.

I think it's hilarious how people think the idea of living in a country with so many dangerous/scary creature is crazy, especially since they result in less deaths than pretty much anything you can think of.
