Why do I need to discuss philosophy??!!

I often feel a need to persuade people of the validity of my beliefs, and am constantly trying to overcome ignorance (in myself and others).

I am agnostic, so I don't figure that (omniscient) God has it all under control, so all the more pressure that it's up to "me/us" to find meaning, value and purpose.

As a "philosopher" I've taken on the noble quest (?) of redeeming the world through the triumph of wisdom, knowledge and understanding.

I have great faith in humanity.
Apparently we know 5% of what we will scientifically know in 50yrs.

I wonder if people will understand religion and philosophy any better then, or peacefully allow for spiritual growth, without dogma.

Not giving a S**t seems like suicide to me !!

as does Buddhist Nirvana.

PLEASE HELP !!!

As for "fancy words" I can try to restrict my terminology for your tastes/ limitations.

If you find a search for knowledge pointless then is that my problem??

Buddhism isn't going against any scientific beliefs, to me, buddhism seems more a philosophy then a religion.

What you're posting is not philosophic in the least. At best it's pointless meandering and by "fancy" I mean not that you're using large or hard to figure out words, I mean you're using words that sound important or deep to you, when really you're just rambling and not saying anything. At worst, and this is how I see it, it's embarrassing to think that someone can think they can just toss out words they read in their philosophy 101 class and think they're fooling anyone into thinking they are within 1,000,000,000,000 functional brain cells of being an intellectual.

Not one thing you've posted would be of any benefit to anyone, in any circumstance ever, apart from an example of what kind of garbage they should turn in to flunk any philosophy course

It's a way of expression, when you score a goal, you don't slowly walk back to your position, you sprint around and gloat to the crowd.
