bound, I've heard others that have problem with that. I think having a preamp between the v-amp and the amp helps a lot, Because we have a couple of amps in the studio and I've had no problem connecting my "rig" to them

I'll check the pre.... I'll probably use it just to record with the v-amp....

I think the pre-amp on my tuber is a little too strong for the v-amp.. but the tonal versatility isn't that big of a deal.... I'm not in a cover band and my A-down serves me well as a stand alone...

He already stopped in. Had nothing for me.

Not sure how they were shipped actually... I know one of the pickups was sent UPS, the other I think were sent via post office.

Get a pair of behringer c-2 stereomic, they cost 90 dollars or so. And they work really really good. I actually saw them recommended in a swedish studio magazine. Even snobs like them.

The behringer ultragain preamp is dual channel so it works great with the c2, and then if you can afford, change the tubes to JJ or mesa.
