The Gift Haul thread!

First of all, merry christmas everyone
This thread is kinda like the CD haul thread, only with presents.

I've got a head start, since my birthday was on the 22nd.

I got:

A guitar rack for 5 guitars. VERY nice, since I can now finally have 'em in one place, instead of strewn all over my room.

A metal-as-.... guitar strap. Black leather with studs!

Gift certificates for a shop that sells CD's, and electronics. I've gotten a lot of those, because I've given up on putting actual CD's on my list. Can you imagine my grandma trying to order a Cephalic Carnage cd?
Basiclly, I'm sparing my family the trouble of finding the records I want, because there are no decent record stores whatsoever in this part of my country. However, If i get more gift certificates tonight (yeah, tonight , that's how we do in denmark), I'm getting an iPod Nano instead.

A sweater that doesn't fit. Hooray.

I know I'm getting 2 pepsi cubes since we go through that like water, don't know what else yet. I told people if they really needed to give me something to give me money for bills, or get me something I need for the house, like paint, but I prefer the bills.

I got some of my presents last night at a party.

My one friend got me "Snakes on a train"...the cheap alternative to its airborne cousin. My other mate gave me a signed first edition of "Curse of Lono" and I know one of my other presents is "Phantasy Star Online 1 & 2" for the xbox.

More words here is more words.

I got a new phone (Nokia 6131) from my dad. Oh and a whole lot of chocolate as usual. And I got two bottles of wine from my employers. I don't like wine but it's free, so...

And I ordered myself a Yamaha RBX375 bass, Toontrack EZDrummer and DFH EZX, some strings and some Isoplanes for my monitors.

Its pretty nice it will play mpeg movies too (With audio) it has 256k of internal memory but you can use media cards with it

display quality is a bit crap so you have to really mess with stuff in photoshop to get them to look decent in it - I started assembling a pig stack of pics to scan for it

I got some books, Magix music studio Deluxe (might be kind of cool), G3- Live in Denver, guitar magazines (Total Guitar: Metal Special and some Guitar World issue), and 80€ iTunes gift certificate, a shirt and some underwear. Oh, and 40€.

Now I lay me down to sleep
Blah, blah, blah my soul to keep
If I die before I wake
I'll go to hell for heaven's sake

I got a tool box, a folding utility blade/half serrated-half plain bladed knife, some drill bits, and some adjustable clamps. (from my "son")

All I got besides that so far was money, so I went out to pick up one of these 160GB drives:

I'm waiting until tomorrow evening to do the rest of my gifts. I've got too much to do tonight/tomorrow morning for me to really be able to relax and open gifts.

I got a very, very much needed new monitor.

Got some books, CDs and DVDs too. And a Dream Theater T-Shrit.

It is a good year.

Oh yeah, and I got a few Studio Ghibli related trinkets from some Japanese girls that are staying with me. Awesome!
