The ammo is .177 stainless steel ball bearings. Metal BBs will work as well, but the bearings I ordered have MUCH tighter tolerances.

I fired it once, using smokless powder. The projectile destroyed a thick ceramic plate.

I'll see about a video at some point, but I have to do a little traveling to get to a place I feel safe enough firing it without harming anyone.

There's a bowling ball mortar out there, also, but we need to find a MUCH larger area to fire it, safely. Something like 2-3 times what we've got access to now.

They also used to have a Civil War replica cannon that worked flawlessly, but they sold it a while back.
