As if my week couldn't get any better... this day tops it.

(Part 1 of 2: Too much GREAT news for one thread (Part 1 of 2): Guitar Competition Entry)

Friday, September 30th: (For those of you just tuning in... my wife was scheduled for a C-section this day). Since we're 2 days past due (and our first boy was a C-section as well) the Dr. told us the previous week that we'll need to do a C-section again. So, we go to the hospital (5 mins from the house) and check in at 11am. One of the Dr's is late

, so instead of starting the procedure at 12:30pm, we start around 1pm.

13 minutes later, I see my son from over the tarp for the first time. Man, you cannot help but get choked up and start crying when you see this. It doesn't get old. What a miracle man... He was/is beautiful. His name is Logan. He was born 9/30/11 @ 1:13pm. 8lbs 12oz. 21 inches. Fit as a whistle. Thank the Lord.
