Her set wasn't funny. There's a difference between being a good comedian with solid writing and just going up there and being a straight up bitch. I didn't laugh once to a single thing she said.

However, I did like the "After all the abuse to your lungs, heart and kidney's, the only thing you've managed to lose are your kids!" Now THAT was funny. Ha ha ha.

I never liked anything Amy Winehouse did but it was pretty ....ing low. At least Seth has the reputation to back it up, Amy I literally never heard of until the roast and you could tell Steve-O didn't appreciate the joke at all. Roasts are all about the low blows though. I think Patrice took a lot of unnecessary shit, as did Charlie's ex wife, and people abused the .... out of Mike Tyson. I actually found Mike Tyson to be the funniest, he got Seth brilliantly with the "I'm not the only one who can make a living borrowing from Homer" joke.

Amy Schumer is just lucky she wasn't roasting Joan Rivers. Joan would have torn her a new one so wide, her food would have come out whole. Joan is ....ing brutal.

How do you know if something offends you unless you watch it? Besides it doesn't offend me, it offended Steve-O. Dunn may not have been the punchline but to use someone's death as the start of a joke is still equally lame. You just don't do that to someone's face.

I think roasts are effective comedy if the person doing them is intelligent enough to make witty remarks and jokes about that character (which can be very brutal but should be worked in a way that makes for comedy) but bluntly abusing someone and having so little material that you have to resort to using jokes about their recently passed freinds is pathetic whichever way you look at it.

I don't imagine anyone here does, myself included. However, Steve-O obviously does care, being as they were best friends, and the joke she made was in tremendously bad taste, even if it wasn't about Ryan. You simply don't drag up someone's pain and throw it in their face for cheap laughs. There is a line, and she crossed it.

The other stuff she said was pretty funny though, especially about Mike Tyson's tattoo. William Shatner's set also called me.

As was said, if you don't like roasts, don't attend/watch them. The whole point is to tear people apart, and in the worst ways possible. My advice? Develop thicker skin and a better sense of humor. Steve-O should have know that Ryan Dunn was going to be brought up. It was in recent news, and therefore at the front of people's minds. If it wasn't Amy, it would've been somebody else.

And the joke was that we all preferred that Steve-O died as opposed to Ryan Dunn, and I whole-heartedly agree with that.

Somehow, people arent understanding that the point of a roast is to state mean and hateful shit under the guise of comedy. Im willing to bet that Amy and Steve-O worked shit out afterwards and the only people still mad about it are people that arent involved in the situation.

As for my last post:
Should I get pissed ever time a gay/fat joke gets thrown around at a roast because Im both fat and bi? Or be ready to tear into people when Andy Dick is put down as a cockslut just because he likes both men and women?
