NCD, I bought a car!

So i'm 15, and today my dad pulls up in the driveway with an old Toyota Camry, he asks me "Do you like this car?" so i say "uhm sure?" (I was rather confused). He follows by saying "Well if you want it, give me 600$. Either you buy it or i am going to. Short story, I bought it. But now i have to wait til March to even drive it

Long story, i live in a small town, less than a thousand people. A friend of my dad's mother had recently died and she was stuck with this car. She just bought a new one so she wanted to sell it for 1000$. He offered her 600$ and she accepted. It's a 1992 Powder Blue Toyota Camry. 117,000. Runs great. Only issues are the trunk had been rear ended, so it doesn't open. Instead of taking it to get fixed...they screwed it shut.

But this will be my project for the next six months til i turn sixteen. I'm ridiculously happy, three weeks ago i bought a new guitar, and now this!!!! Good summer.

Just inherited my dad's tan '93 Camry. It's a total tank, running 90% well after 140k miles and a hood-bender accident. Only problem is that it leaks oil sometimes...

Not sure what your school is like but if they have an auto shop they may be willing to let you work on it there or fix it for you as a class project.

Either way just call the wreckers and get a new trunk lid for $20 and bang the dents out of the body till its straight...you got time to fix it.
