How to kill GAS.

Well I was on Drum City Guitar Land and saw LTD 2009 EX-AVATAR Graphic 6-String Electric Guitar.
The outlaw as well. What sucks is I need a better head, but I want one of those so ....ing bad. Hence why I'm selling so much in my "Early Spring Cleaning thread." Pretty much broke at the moment ($75 isn't going to get me shit ), and I need to really take into consideration of what to save for.
Any thoughts?

Just kidding, man. I'm kinda in the same boat. You've gotta sit down and prioritize.

Where do you play most (house, jam, live, etc.)? What do you play most? If you are in a band, and need a head, then you need a head. If you're not in a band ATM, and have a practice amp/software that you like, then I'd say the guitar, as that'll be a more noticeable purchase given that situation (in the sense that, in your basement, you'll probably play a second guitar more than a head/4x12 stack).

I know the feeling

But yeah, for me, it'd be cool to flip my Lynchbox for something nicer like a Mark V head, but I'm not in a band at the moment, so it's not really a necessity. And, for what I'd hopefully get for the Lynchbox, I could get the Agile 8 I'm gasing for and potentially a used POD bean, which I'd get way more use out of, y'know?

Well, I am a bad example, but when I want something I draw a list of stuff I 'need' before stuff I would like. Say I have 1 guitar, 1 bass, and a bass amp. Next was a guitar amp (a Mark V). Then I picked up a second 6'er. Now I am getting a 7. I could use a backup bass incase I start playing out again (I am a bassist), but my amp gets me buy. If I was playing out again I would probably go for a bigger bass amp. I have a 100W/Chan amp, and it gets band practices done, and small venues.

Here is my tip of the year though. DO NOT BUY INTERMITTENT/TRANSITORY GEAR. Only buy the real stuff, that you dream of at night. Everything else will only slow down getting that dream gear. I don't buy middling guitars, as I know they can't sit beside the ones I have, therefore will not get playtime. The most important factor being comfort while playing ofcourse.

I am currently in a recording drought though, which kind of defeats why I bought a Mark V, but I just cannot put the time I need together due to my research. Same reason I am not currently playing out on the bass. I certainly don't need my Mark V, but I sure as hell enjoy it.

Guitar techs are for sissies.

Learn some damn music theory, don't complain, and you'll be a better person. -Schecterwhore

Show me a truly awesome guitar for under $1000 and I'll show you hateful lies.

I'm not happy with my overall tone in the video ( Partly due to my camera), I love my guitar though. Reason for wanting that EX is to back that guitar up cause my PRS copy just doesn't do it for me anymore. My amp sounds about 6-5x better and is clearer then the video, but I'm still discontent with my tone. I'm not sure what to do.
EDIT: I should note that I did not warm up. I was in a rush to get something up tonight because my internet takes a million years to upload. That one took an hour and 15 minutes or so. So excuse my mistakes.

Playing usually just makes me want a new head even more, but if I had a better head it probably would kill my GAS.

For a couple of years already I have forgotten the feeling of not having GAS. One GAS turns into another and the cycle continues.
