I give a serious thank you to max for all the help. and I think he somehow added to my growing love for ibanez. i used to HATE ibbys but after buying the 7420 and having him help me on that on, and on the rga8, i grew to love ibby alot more.
So thank you max. Thank you. "DUDE YOU ARE F*CKING DEAF" "No i'm not.. I'm a musician" |

Thoroughly decent chap
While raping a bear in Yellowstone and snorting coke out of a freshly-dead baby's skull, I finally felt that I had found my calling and built a time machine out of Iraqi WMDs and LOTS OF HEMP WHOA. Using this time machine I went back in time and shot JFK from outer ....ing space. I've never seen an instance when Max isn't right, nor is he ever cocky about being right, never seen any bad from Max, seems to be one of the forums most upstanding citizens, glad to have you around bud!
![]() This thread is long overdue, I think I have repped him a few times when he's helped someone out, but this is the thanks due.

M.o.M. is awesome!!! I can't remember if he was one of the Ibanez.com forumers that I brought over to ss.org or not, but I've known him since even before I joined this site. (He used to have an avatar that looked like one of the guys from Metalocalypse.) Prime and Max, along with Ouija, Rich, and the other important members on Ibanez.com, were very influential in the early days of my Ibanez obsession. As a noob, I would constantly ask questions on setup issues, and people like Max would always quickly respond. It's funny... I didn't realize it till now, but I have learned so much about the technical side of guitars from Max.
![]() Nowadays, I feel an obligation to share that knowledge with ss.org. Max and I end up ninja'ing each other on this site all the time with advice for the noobs. ![]() Three cheers for Max!!! ![]() ![]()

MaxOfMetal made me regain interest in trems. I mean, they still are a bitch to setup, but at least now it's doable.
I recommend everyone to buy MaxOfMetal for your guitars! It's amazing! ![]()

max has helped me out too many times to count
the fact he dosent have as much green rep as some of the mods shocks me but then you look at when he joined and you realize that for being here for just over 2 years he has more rep than some people who have been here since 06 ![]() but TBH max is the most helpful guy on here (and on the ibby forums) if he was given higher powers around here i would not be shocked or upsetoh wait one more thing to say "you realize a 7 string guitar has i built in 6 string right?" is ....ing timeless as is the "trem diagram"

Hey Max I just ripped apart my trem (Lo-Pro7) and now I am lost! Got that link to help me out?
I am being 100% honest here! But yeah Max always helps people out and knows everything about ibanez. Shit he could be Mr. Ibanez for all we know.

![]() It's a little fuzzy, so let me know if you need some better pics/explanations. EDIT: Unlike other trems where the saddles are in pairs to compensate for the radius, the Lo-Pro has a "stepped" baseplate, so all the saddles are interchangeable, you don't have to worry about grouping them by size. Yeah, I was about to make one of these. (To the OP: you're pretty helpful yourself, I'm sending some appreciation your way as well).
Max, you are so quick to answer all types of guitar related questions, and you seem to really know what the hell you're talking about. Not only that, your answers are in depth and written in a good language that is easy to understand. You are awesome. Please don't burn out like Portnoy just did. Stay with us!
