This is why the music scene in my city was so shit and eventually died off

. I'm sure there are exceptions, but my old bands definitely dealt with people like this.

Haha, those shows can still be fun though. I just get wasted at the bar and grudge..../slurr through the set. I crack up every time I make a mistake, it's so childishly spiteful but fun at the same time.

I mean, we're there, might as well play. On the other hand, without payment I'm just a musician, I stop caring about the presentation and just try to have a good time.
