What's up. A four string player decided to join your ranks of your metal.
Ther main reason I play bass as opposed to guitar is my wide fingertips, whilst trying to play guitar I will end of mutting strings that I don't want to bother with. I got to try out a bass, and upon discovering that I could actually play it and it felt incredibly natural I got one on christmas of that year (this was 2 years ago). I'm also a member of forum by then name of www.talkbass.com. I'm really just a guitar minded person trapped in a body that only cooperates with basses. I'm thoroughly addicted to exotic tonalities, play Metal/Advant Garde/Art Rock/Ambient/Noise, and perfer pick playing with trebly tone. My heroes are Cliff Burton, David Gilmour, Geezer Butler, Tony Iommi, Adam Jones, Justin Chancellor, Roger Waters and Les Claypool. I aim to be as original, different, and unorthodox in my music and art as I possibly can. Sorry for the long post. I've been here for a little while but couldn't think of a good way to introduce myself for awhile, so I'm finally doing it.

Not that you aren't welcome. The more the merrier, IMO! Alot of us are closet bass players, anyway. (I tune down to F on my 7-string.

and how comes your a lead bassist but you don't mention Victor Wooten in your influences? That makes me a sad panda

Abyssalservant is my guitarist, that's why I joined. But I'd still like another guitarist or a keys player or something. But the real killer is drums, no percusssionist

I'm not really a funk kinda guy, Victor can play extremely well, but it's not my style.
