ilyti is on a distinguished road
Hey guys.
Greetings from Denmark. Decided to join here, because I've heard good things and I've been a lover of the 7 strings for a year now. Played the six strings for a bit longer than that though, about 8 years now (time flies).

Band: a few rather different projects. Some prog, some cheese, some jazz, some death'n'black.
Main guitars: Raines Fusion 7, semi-hollow 7 string. I will have picks up if someone is interested. Gibson Les Paul, my first electric guitar and my playing is still not worthy of it. Had some costumisations done to it, it just needs a refret then it's jsut about perfect. Spanish 6-string.

So there you have it.

Who are you?
Lal. I'm a Canadian chick.

How long have you been playing?
I don't play much, so I guess I can't really say a certain amount of time. I got my Luna Andromeda guitar and Laney amp last year, but they seem to be more decoration for my room than anything else. My boyfriend is trying to get me to play more, but I'll be honest, I can't get motivated. Maybe being at a guitar forum will make me more serious about it.

What's your story?
Um.. guitar and music wise? I like a lot of different kinds of music, and I don't really feel like listing it here, so feel free to see my Last.fm page.

Hay names Ben i'm from New Zealand soon to not be as I'm moving to the U.K.

Been playing for near enough to 5 years now and attempting to orchestrate a means for me to go to music school in the next 6th months to hone my chops, though more likely it will be 8 or even next year.

Current Gats are an RG320EX (i think) I'm modding to have two Vol Evo's and a Tremol-No (TM) and maybe filing the last 5 or 6 frets. A Les Paul im trying to ditch to fund a Seven string purchase, I wanted one for all of 2005, then forgot about it, then heard Outworlds album then lusted after it again, which only got worse when i heard Aghora's Formless, and Meshuggas New offering. So any advice on a good, but not earth shatteringly expensive 7 i can grab?

So yeah, look forward to molesting the forums here.

Use the search function and you'll find loads of threads dealing with "which 7" and whatnot. Try the RG7321.

Yeah i was seriously contemplating one of them, esp if i can get it through Ikkebe-gakki. I was just worried that with such a wicked price tag they would be a bit on the not so awsome side. Not so huh...
