I've been hanging around here for a while, checking out the posts (mostly gear related

), but now its asked me to register before i could view...so here i am

And now for something completely different....

Been playing guitar for about 12 years, 2 of them with a 7-string.

Hi!! my name is LUIZ, and i've been playing about 8 years now
My current guitars:
Brian Moore i9.7
Washburn 587V (with two EMG's 707, and totally modified... my first 7!)
Ibanez rg 750 '88 custom shop
jackson jdr also totally modified

I play in a brazilian heavy metal band called THOTEN, we played in Gods of Metal 2003 w/ Queensryche, Whitesnake, Motorhead, Saxon, Angra and Pain of salvation,
I'm also playing in a band called SOULHOST, mainly its a modern metal... Like Sevendust meets dream theater with electronic elements ... 7 strings tuned with a low A.
Musical tastes- I'm really into anything that sounds good to my ears

But my favourite bands are Extreme, Van Halen, Sevendust, Dream Theater, Vai, Fear factory, etc!!
