New guy here...
Hey everyone, I've just found and joined this site today. I've been playing guitar for about 10 years now, with various phases through metal, rock, folk, jazz, blues and classical styles. Now, I've finally figured out I can just play whatever the hell I like whenever I want. I guess growing up will do that to you.

I've just picked up a cheap Ibanez RG7321. I know, it's not a Universe, but it'll work for now. I'll use it to brush up on my Jazz/Metal chops.
Alan Holdsworth, Derryl Gabel and Fredrik Thordendal/Marten Hagstrom of Meshuggah are my biggest influences in those areas.

Anyway, I just thought I'd introduce myself.
