I really like the Loomis! I'm going to be putting Blackouts (neck) in both positions in the next week. I'm also going to switch the Vol knob and pickup selecter positions. I have a sturdy Petrucci style pickup selector switch that will go where the Vol is now in the guitar. I had a good chat with Jeff at NAMM in January. I tried to tell him about the Blackouts and he said he'd give them a try. I haven't heard back from him on Myspace yet. I'll have to bug him again. The only issue with the guitar is the pickups. I'm not an EMG fan. This guitar needs to breathe, the EMG only fizz and flub the tone up. Not to mention there is no dynamics with those pickups.
