Great guitar, but it looked like it had suffered through hell from the pic you posted afterwards! Ouch! But now, it looks like a masterpiece

Glad you didn't! At first I was dissapointed with the condition. The seller described it as "normal wear for 9 years of playing" but I think it was a little past that. The pics were bad so I took a bit of a gamble but the fact that I got it for the opening bid and that it was so rare pushed me over the edge into Sevenville.

Hell yeah! But actually the only new hardware on it right now is the strap buttons which it didn't have. The rest is just the old crusty stuff cleaned up and painted by me. A little elbow grease, sandpaper, steel wool, and black paint goes a long way!

Thanks! It looked like somebody left it out in the rain or poured a beer on it before putting it in the case just to spite it. It was a lot of work getting all that rust off(Thanks OCD, you're the best!). I'm very happy with the way it turned out.
