Who is Millatron?
OK so my first post was about pickups, but I guess a formal introduction is in order.
I just bought my first seven string after reading countless reviews. I am now the proud owner of an xpt707 xiphos. I bought it to begin learning some new material from artists who play 7 strings as well as expand my own writing and learn some new arpegios etc. I'm 27, I mainly play metal (grind, death, whatever) and write the same. I have been playing for 14 years, and have taken guitar lessons for probably 2 years of combined and extremely spread out periods. I took classical theory for piano (RCM exams and all) and basically applied it to guitar myself for scales and modes and junk. I joined this community as it seems like a tremendous cesspool of good information and knowledgable people. I'm a wiring novice (have installed my own pickups, and built my own speaker cabs) but I wouldnt consider myself an expert. Hope to learn lots while I'm here. |
