Just started posting here today. I found this place by searching for info on 7 string pickups. This place is great!

I haven't had my 7 string long but hopefully with the help of this site I will be able to make some music with it. I built it using a NT7 carvin neck. i photo documented the build on my site but can't link to it yet as I don't have 15 posts yet. If I get time later today I will see if I can post pictures.

Welcome.

The reasoning behind the 15 post rule is to prevent spammers and bots from signing up and posting things like "Click me for a Free Ipod" 50 times in the middle of the night when I can't do anything about it.

Good to have you here - have a look around the forums, I'm sure you'll find 13 things to post about in no time.

The anti-bot thing makes sense. Well actually you don't have to wait to see it. The completed pictures are at the top right below the photoshopped one.

Dude, you solved my main complaint with Carvin--the retarded looking rounded body edges. Sweet looking guitar, welcome to the forum!

I am SOOOOOOO glad I am not the only one who thinks thats. I mean would it kill Carvin to NOT round the body sides like there othe guitars.

Thanks guys.
I moved the completed pictures to the end to cut down on confusion. Just this week I stepped up the hole in the 7th string sperzel to accomodate a .070 B string. WOW what an inprovement! I might not have to change the bridge pickup after all. We'll see.
