My real name is Rob. I've been playing guitar for about 17 years.

Older roundback Ovation acoustic electric
lots of different drop tunings

I'm currently running PodXt Live into Fruity Loops. I hope to eventually have the Pod running through either a pair of Atomics or a Carvin TS100+stereo cab that I could mic and isolate when needed. My drummer and I have been playing together since high school. We never really recorded very much or kept other band members for very long. Experimentation was our thing, we just rode the music wherever it took us, anchors away. The acoustic drums weren't allowing us enough options anymore and one day up popped Fruity Loops on a disk for the Creative soundcards in the computers I was building both of us. She started writing beats and I started woodshedding. Right now the stuff we are working on would be somewhere in the Ministry end of things.

Some of my current faves are Lamb of God, Killswitch Engage, Unearth, All That Remains, Shadows Fall, Dillinger Escape Plan, Slipknot, Soilwork, In Flames, Nine Inch Nails, Assemblage 23, Bella Morte, Meshuggah, Nevermore, As I Lay Dying, Horse the Band, KMFDM, The Absence

I've been listening to some of the members music links and there are some amazing guitar players on this forum. It's nice to meet all of you. I put up my Schecter in the gallery.

I play an XT Live too. For now I'm only going through one Atomic, but I love the sound even though it is mono.
