Not new... but never introduced
Hey, my name's Roman from NYC.
I didnt introduce myself earlier because I didnt think an Ibanez Gio counted as a seven. Anyway, Ive had my J custom for a month or so now, and Ive finally started playing like a sevenstringer. Im turning 19 in November, been playing guitar since I was 10, and tried out sevenstrings for the first time in '07. As a side note, i was a huge Korn fanatic when I first started playing guitar. I wanted to get the same GIO that I have now, but was told I should learn how to play six-strings first. I dont regret it. Musically, I used to listen to a lot of Black and Death metal. Nowadays I listen to a lot of fusion and prog. Im still fairly obsessed with the whole shredding thing, but at least I'm starting to add jazz tones into there. Im looking for people to start a math metal/prog band with scandinavian influences, New York City are preferred. I would like to experiment with 'djent' polyrythms too |

btw... unfortunately anyone considering doing a band with me will have to put up with gratuitous shredding while the band is resting etc....
in songs, I try to solo as little as possible though and desecrated.... does North of Sweden mean Norway? or what? (I always wondered) i was born in Carelia btw... so not too far from there |
