Forgot to introduce myself...

Hey all! I've been reading this board for quite a while and just started posting a bit just recently. Thought I'd might wait till I got my first seven before coming here but I guess it doesn't really matter.

Anyways, I've been using the alias FoxZero online for about seven years now and since my website was discovered last year every one in my school district now calls me that (kinda weird being popular now since I've kinda been a bit of an outcast). foxzero.net is one of my pride and joys and most of my projects are up there (it is in need of updating though).

I've been playing guitar for about seven years but I haven't been taking it seriously until the past several years. In the past few years I've also taken up bass and drums, and I am the lead vocalist in my band Wolf-Hybrid (I finally formed my dream band). Bass would definately be my second main instrument and I seem much more naturally talented at it than guitar, but I don't play it nearly as much and I play mainly jazz/funk, rather than rock and metal as I do on guitar. As far I drums go I'm pretty mediocre since I rarely play them now, put I can keep a decent beat at fast tempos, but I can't play Sepultura anymore lol.

I've been wanting a baritone 6 since I was little, but in the past several years I've taken a serious liking to some seven string stuff and B-standard on my six (although I've always stayed in Drop D). The main guys to get me into the seven around 2005 would have to be Meshuggah, Bulb, and Brian "Head" Welch (I really only like his stuff on the first two Korn albums nowadays). I mainly listened to detuned 6 guys at the time but when I came across these bands I learned the true power of the seven. I was craven one ever since, but the search for the one for me has only just ended sadly, and I acquired a six string bass first lol.

The current band I'm in, Wolf-Hybrid, is a good mix of alt metal, alt rock, old school thrash, prog rock and metal, and classic rock, not all at the same time . Our diverse sound has always made it difficult to find bandmates but we mainly stick to the real heavy stuff, which is why we're all interested in switching completely over to sevens now, but that process probably won't be done till our second album (most of our first album has already been written on 6 strings). You can check us out at MySpace.com - Wolf-Hybridâ„¢ (need lead and bass!) - WEST CHESTER, Pennsylvania - Metal / Thrash / Alternative - www.myspace.com/wolfhybridband.

As far the other stuff I do goes, well, I have a lot of hobbies, too many to keep up with really. I consider myself above everything else a writer. Even though I don't always have time for it now I'm always coming up with stuff to write later anyways (I got OCD so ideas get stuck in my head real easy lol). I've been working on a sci-fi thriller for the past few years but very little of it's done, but I've written many short stories over the years (my teachers always whine about my stories being too long, I just wanna yell shut the fuck up you can read 40 pages!). I'm always writting new songs, there's ideas that are sometimes trapped in my head for years until I finally get them out (that's another one of my problem, the last song I wrote for my band took a year to get out of my head and I practically wrote the whole thing in one day last week lol).

I also am an independent game designer. A pretty pathetic one, but I've had some pretty damn good ideas and have assembled teams in the past and have been hired for other teams. I'll post some of my work at the bottom.

I particularly love first person shooter games and I try to waste as much time as I can playing them. I'm currently playing the original Marathon, Resistance: Fall of Man, quake 4, and FEAR.

Lastly I'm interested in guitar building and have been trying to start for a while now. If you wanna discuss that with me that'd be great and I want to learn all I can

Thanks for taking the time to get to know who I am. I do many more things but this thread is getting too long. Now for your reward, pics!

Most well known pic of me, about a year old now, damn my hair was short.

A few days after I got my Ibanez six string bass. I still it to death. Wish that camera wasn't so shitty, but I needed the self timer.

Vocals are fun!

Me drummin.

New 7

Just a cool pic.

My band and I from a year ago, still the same members.

Our favorite logo.

Cover of out last demo.

Ok now here's some of my work on the 3D GameStudio engine.

My first model, never finished.

My drunk driving simulator, complete with delayed reaction and distorted vision. I canned this project due to issues with the Newton physics engine.

Some recent gun model I'm working on to put in a package to sell.

These last shots our of my currunt shooter project Trail of Blood. First pic id of an '86 F-150 you drive at some point, second is an accurate M-1-34, third is a crapy level designed by me, last is some good concept art done by this kid named... shit I can't remember. We just lost our lead programmer and now it's just me as the modeler, level designer, lead designer, and some other dude as the 2D artist.
