 |  A proper introduction. Hi everyone, I've been lurking around since November 2006, when I was still in the plans of buying myself a seven string. I found this place a great source of both information and entertainment. It has been probably mentioned a thousand times how great this place is. I must say that I completely agree, but what, in my opinion, stands out the most is the quality of grammar over here.  A few things about me. My real name is Ivan, I'm 22 and I come from Belgrade, capital of Serbia, a small country in Southeastern Europe. I play guitar for 6-7 years now, seven string only about couple of months. The transition was seamless, and I don't think I'll be getting back to sixes. My main seven is rg7321. My favorite bands, and biggest musical influences are Dream Theater, Unearth, Megadeth and Tool. Among other bands that I like are Death, Decapitated, Metallica, Anthrax, and so on. I play guitar in a band called Reset. We've been together for a year and a half now. We've played a couple of local shows that went pretty well. Rant about musical scene over here, in Serbia, a bit later. There you go! Cheers!  ps. I've been delaying this introduction for quite some time, as I've been compiling the proper gear to record a couple of tunes which would serve as a 'real' proper introduction. Since it'll take a bit more time till those are ready, I believe that this thread will serve well as a placeholder. |
