Hi! im new and i hope that i have come to stay!
getting my first 7string now, and im so looking forward to it.
24y old from Sweden, and ive been playing for ~ 15 years or so. i currently own an old levin acoustic, and a Ibanez RG470, but im about to give them both a new brother to welcome to the family. they are both scared that i wont give them as much attention as i used to, and im afraid they might be right!

i have never taken any lessions except for half a year of classical guitar and half a year of jazzish theory. playwise im extremely lefthanded, so the righthand technique has always needed a little more practice.

inspiration:

i grew up with alot of 70s rock from my dad. led zeppelin would be the soundtrack to my childhood, allthough my dad also had me listen to some more progressive bands as well, such as captain beyond to al dimeola to chick corea and bands like that.

as a young kid i guess i went down a kind of traditional road into metal, through g'n'r and metallica and further on to slayer, pantera and anthrax. going from there i spent my first years as a teenager listening to alot of swedish metal, from at the gates, the old inflames, the crown, the haunted etc.

from there on i craved complexity and i got more and more into progressive technical stuff. i love bands like meshuggah, spawn of possession, nile, cynic, death and necrophagist, monstrosity etc. to mellow out i turn back to old 70s music, and thats about where i am today.
