Hey-- I'm a noob of epic proportions. I've only begun playing guitar lately out of necessity. About two months ago I puchased my first electric (after watching an acoustic gather dust for about three years)-- a seven string Ibanez RG 7321. I've got a buddy who is willing to sell me some Dimarzio Blaze pickups for it so, with any luck, the only thing that will sound awful about it in the near future will be the person playing it.

I love it, though-- it's probably one of the best things I've ever bought. I see it as a "getting to know the instrument" guitar, but in that capacity it's pretty decent. Anyway, just introducing myself. I hear this is a good forum.

welcome, and congrats on the recent purchase. As for your playing, well, it will come along with time and practice.

The people here are very knowledgeable and friendly, so ask questions often.

Just yesterday I received my very first 7-string, though I've been playing guitar for many, many years.
