Nuke is on a distinguished road
New member, new to 7-strings....kinda

Greets all.

Like most everyone else I started with 6 but eventually started dabbling with 7s. My first 7 was a Jackson DR7T about 2 years ago. I liked it well enough to place an order for a Jackson COW 7, but really wanted a Floyd and a neck pickup, so I dropped that order for a Custom Shop USA Jackson 7-string Warrior (Strat-shapes just ain't me, but the Warrior body is perfect).

So without further ado, here it is:

Sorry for the crappy indoor pics - I'll try to get it outside for better ones.

Specs:
Body: Alder with Blood Splatter finish
Neck: Bolt-on/Maple/Ebony/MOP sharkfins/binding on head and neck/24 frets/matching 4x3 headstock/Abalone logo
Pickups: Duncan Distortion(B) and Custom(N)
Bridge: OFR-7

JCF members here may recognize the guitar, but not the name. Yup, it's me: Newc, except this time I got the spelling I'd been wanting all these years: NUKE!

I wanted bolt-on because it was cheaper than neckthrough
I've been told it's the first-ever Custom Shop bolt-on 7-string Warrior.

Anyhoo, I'm also known as DrNewcenstein. Mostly because of this monstrosity (or atrocity, depending on yer point of view):

Jackson WRMG body with DK2M neck and over 100 Pyramids, Domes, and Spikes hammered into the surface. Adds 3 lbs to the mass, and greatly improves sustain

Aside from my Les Paul Standard, I'm primarily a Jackson guy. Had a bad experience with Ibanez years ago, and I'm living in a self-imposed boycott of anything with the Ibanez logo on it

I've been playing for about 22 years now (well, I've owned a guitar for 22 years, but I've only been "good" for about 15 years )

Howdy, Nuke (or should I say Newc?)

Ah, the Halford Warrior. A classic for sure.

I love the Warrior 7. I really should have ordered the CS Warbird 7 I wanted when I could still afford it.

Division - American metal that doesn't suck. Much. Even on MySpace, and Soundclick, too.

Bollocks. That's just reignited the desire to get a warrior 7string...

Very metal guitars!

Mine too James!

I like the 7 string Warrior a lot, but I'm not so hot on the blood spatter finish. I like the concept of the Franken-warrior too.

Welcome, and nice stuff!

Is that a pink DiMarzio strap on the 7? That's great!

Yup, that's a Neon Pink Cliplock from 1988. It's been on almost every guitar I've owned. Come to think of it, it's also been on every guitar I've sold

I need to get another black one to put on there, cuz all I've got for spares is a Turquoise one and the Pink one
