Ah, my name's Chris and I'm currently attending AIU in Atlanta although my heart (and my parents and friends) are still in New Orleans. I've been playing guitar (technically) since '93 or so but there was a period of about four to six years where I barely touched it. And also I was never very technically-minded so... yeah I just don't suck.

I play in a metalcore band called Terranigma although I'm actually a frustrated death metal nut. I'll only stop detuning my guitar after I buy one of those Ibanez 8 stringers and even then I'll probably try to drop it a step or two

My major influences are Joe Satriani, Meshuggah, Death, Sepultura, Soilwork, Diesel Machine, Fear Factory and Lamb of God I suppose. I also grew up playing Testament and Metallica so that's probably never going to go away.

I've been doing a lot of amateur home-studio recording because I'm not writing the stuff I'd like to write for Terranigma, partially because our other guitarist loathes seven strings (never got a good reason why out of him) and also because our bass player doesn't own a five string.
